Why ASC Matters for the DACH Market
Next month, on 11-12 November, we'll be attending ASC 2025 as a proud Gold sponsor. After a successful debut at last year's inaugural conference, we're excited to return to what's become an essential gathering for ticketing and marketing professionals across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
The Audience Success Conference fills an important gap in the DACH region. It's the only conference dedicated specifically to ticketing, CRM, and digital marketing for performing arts venues and cultural institutions. For theatres, concert halls, opera houses, and festivals, it's a rare opportunity to step away from day-to-day operations and focus on the challenges and solutions that matter most to the sector.
This year's theme, "Geld verdienen?! Menschen erreichen" (Making Money?! Reaching People), reflects the balance every cultural venue is trying to strike. The conference brings together the practical and the aspirational, which is exactly why we're proud to support it.
Our entry into the DACH market has reinforced what we already knew: performing arts venues here need modern ticketing systems that can handle their complex operational needs whilst delivering seamless experiences for their audiences. ASC provides the space for these conversations to happen between venues and the companies that support them.
Our Team Will Be There
This year, we're bringing a strong DACH team to Munich:
Magdalena Menheere, Business Development Manager, will be representing Tixly alongside Alex Baumgartner, Business Development Specialist, Julia Geiger, Operations Manager, and Jacqueline Bunge, Client Service Specialist. Alex and Jacqueline are new additions to our team in 2025, so this will be their first ASC with Tixly. Our Managing Director, Hrefna Sif Jónsdóttir, will also be joining us.
Stop by our booth during the conference. Whether you're exploring new ticketing solutions, curious about what modern performing arts ticketing software can do, or just want to chat about the challenges you're facing at your venue, we'd be glad to talk.
Sharing What We've Learnt
We're also participating in the conference programme this year. Magdalena will be presenting alongside Anna Bernard from Wiener Konzerthaus and David Punz from Wiener Konzerthaus in a session titled "The Times They Are a-Changin' - Aspects of the Successful System Changeover at the Wiener Konzerthaus."
This session will explore how one of Vienna's most prestigious concert halls successfully transitioned to Tixly's ticketing platform. The Wiener Konzerthaus, which hosts over 800 events annually for half a million visitors, went live with our system in September 2025 after thorough preparation and collaboration between their team and ours. It's been one of our most significant projects to date, and we're pleased to share the insights from that process with the ASC community.
The presentation will cover change management, project coordination, and the success factors that made the complex migration smooth. If you're considering a system change at your venue, this session should give you practical insights into how to approach it.
Supporting the DACH Performing Arts Community
Our expansion into Germany, Austria, and Switzerland has been driven by a clear need in the market. Cultural venues here deserve ticketing systems that are built specifically for their world, not generic event platforms that treat a theatre like a sports stadium.
The relationships we've built in the region over the past year have shown us that venues value transparency, reliability, and systems that actually make their work easier. That's what we're committed to delivering, and it's why conferences like ASC are so valuable. They create space for honest conversations about what's working, what isn't, and where the industry needs to go next.
Whether you're already working with us, considering a new ticketing solution, or simply interested in what's happening in performing arts technology, we'd genuinely like to meet you in Munich.
Let's Connect
Want to book time with our team before the conference? Get in touch with us and we'll arrange a meeting in Munich. We're also happy to discuss how Tixly's performing arts ticketing software can support your venue's operations, whether you're in the DACH region or elsewhere in Europe, Australia, or North America.
We'll see you at the Fat Cat in November.
