Accessibility Declaration .

Updated on June 24th 2025

Tixly is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. Our aim is to make our ticketing software and purchasing experiences inclusive, usable, and accessible for everyone.

We are continually working to improve the accessibility of our software and adhere to best practices and standards defined by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as well as recommendations from the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), including the use of ARIA attributes where appropriate .

Scope

This accessibility declaration applies to the standard Tixly ticket buying flow provided through our platform, whether it is standalone or integrated and branded in cooperation with venues. Please note that venues may apply their own customisations to design elements such as colors and fonts. Tixly cannot guarantee continued accessibility compliance in such customised implementations.

Accessibility Features

Tixly’s standard online purchase flow includes, but is not limited to, the following accessibility features:

Keyboard Navigation
All functions, including ticket selection and purchase, are accessible via keyboard navigation.

Screen Reader Support
Form fields, buttons, and content are readable and properly labeled for use with assistive technologies.

Color Contrast
We ensure sufficient contrast ratios between text and background to accommodate users with visual impairments.

Text Alternatives
Non-text content (such as images) includes alternative text descriptions.

ARIA Support
We implement ARIA roles and properties to help assistive technologies interpret content structure and functionality.

Clear Language
We avoid unnecessarily complex or technical language to support cognitive accessibility.

Focus Visibility & Consistency
Visual focus indicators are present, and interface behavior remains consistent throughout the purchase process.

Known Limitations

Session Timeout
The basket (cart) session has a fixed timeout of 15 minutes. This currently cannot be extended by users, which is a limitation for WCAG 2.1 SC 2.2.1 (Timing Adjustable) .

Customised Implementations
If the venue or third-party modifies the visual presentation beyond our default templates, compliance cannot be guaranteed and should be independently assessed.

Feedback and Contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our platform. If you encounter any issues or barriers while using the ticketing flow, please contact us:

Formal Compliance Evaluation

An internal evaluation of conformance was conducted based on WCAG 2.1 Level AA and WCAG 2.2 success criteria. According to our Accessibility Conformance Report (VPAT, January 2025), the standard buying flow either fully supports or partially supports the applicable success criteria for Level A and Level AA .

Updates

This declaration will be reviewed and updated annually or as substantial changes are made to the buying interface or accessibility standards.
