Recently, Tixly has brought onboard five new developers, including a new team lead, Sigrún Arna, to further strengthen and build its development team.

Tixly's focus on servicing its current client base while building the best ticketing software solution for culture and arts venues available in the market has always been based on developing a product that stands out from the competition. That’s why we’ve recently added five new members - Jónas Hákon, Snorri, Atli, and Ari Björn and a new team lead, Sigrún Arna, to our strong development team.

Sigrún Arna, the new Head of Product Development, brings her vast amount of experience from other software companies such as Origo, Meniga and Tempo. She has extensive experience working within growing companies, and to build and scale development teams. She's taken the leadership role hands-on since starting this summer and is building the team to offer the best solutions to our customers, providing them with the Tixly solution of efficient and powerful event ticketing software.

We’ve also proudly welcomed four new developers to the growing development team.

Jónas Hákon, a recent software engineering graduate from University of Iceland, Snorri, an experienced software developer joining us from the Icelandic Post, Atli, a software developer joining Tixly from Parity Games and Ari Björn who has over a decade of experience in software development at start-ups. Their skills, coupled with Tixly’s existing developers, will enable the development team to deliver superior ticketing solutions that cater to the specific needs of the culture and arts venues they serve.
